Confirmation today from the IKC, that Ch. Int. & Ir.Ch. Bernemcourt Sirocco "Rocco" has been awarded Annual Champion for the breed in Ireland for the 5th time his time held jointly with his kennel mate Ir. Ch. Bernemcourt Fascination "Max" the two of them having identical show records for 2011. If that wasn't enough our Catalan Sheepdog Starwell Princess at Bernemcourt "Tiana" was also awarded the Annual Champion acolade for her breed the first ever in Ireland to do so.

It has been a fantastic trip through the Junior stage for Max, Bernemcourt Fascination. Having won his Ir Jun Ch, his Ir. Ch. Title, his qualification for Pet Plan Junior Stakes Grand Final he capped it all by becoming the 1st bernese from Northern Ireland to claim and be awarded the K.C. Junior Warrant

We are off on a trip to the GRAND FINAL of the Petplan Junior Stakes at Stafford in January 2012 thanks to Mr. J. Horswell who awarded Max 1st place in the qualifiing round at Darlington from an entry of 19. This was Max's 3 Junior Stakes win of the summer having won at Bangor/North Down and Clonmel, a big THANK YOU to the judges

Max now to be known as Ir. Ch. Bernemcourt Fascination (Ir. Jun. Ch. CJW 11) as he won his 7th and qualifying Green Star under Mr. Dominic Harris from England. Max has also won 6 B.O.B.

Busy time at Bernemcourt with no one busier than Max. On 15th July, Freya gave birth to 7 dogs and 3 bitches and on 1st August Khamsin, surprised us all by producing 4 dogs and 1 bitch, all sired by Max

Both Max and Tiana won Best of Breed at The Newtownards Charity open show. Max was withdrawn at the group judge had handled him earlier in the year but Tiana more than made up for it by winning Group 1

TWO dogs entered in TWO Breeds and TWO Green Stars and TWO Best of Breeds. Rocco collected his 78th G.S./ and his 66th B.O.B. but it was a 1st G.S. with B.O.B. with our little Catalan, possibly the first Catalan Sheepdog to win a Green Star.....

ROCCO continued his wonderful 2011 by gaining his 3 C.C. of the year under Dr. R. James at SKC his 11th in total. Max is still on his winning way by coming 1st in Junior Dog. Both dogs are still unbeaten in their respective classes this year

Sth. Tipperary and Fermoy weekend Rocco took both Green Stars with B.O.B. his 12th C.A.C.I.B and Gp2. @ Sth Tipp. Freya took both Green Stars and her first C.A.C.I.B. and Max was Res Green Star dog on both days gaining his 5th and qualifying Junior win for his Irish Junior Title along the way

Rocco won Open dog and RCC 1st in RCC Stakes and 2nd in Champion Stakes. Max winning his class first time standing in Junior and 2nd in Junior Stakes. Freya had a 2nd in Open Bitch and gained her Stud Book Number

At Banbridge Ch. Show under Mr. J. Gardener Max came out on top with B.O.B. and Dog G.S. with Rocco res. G.S.. In the Bitches a 13th G.S. for Freya

A great day at Crufts under judge Mr. Terry Munroe. Rocco won his 9th CC with his 8th BOB and to top an unforgetable day Max went Best Puppy in Breed.

For the forth year in succession "Rocco" has been crowned Irish Annual Champion, and he won't be 5 until April. Winning 18 Green Stars in 2010, all with Best of Breed, we would like to thank all the Judges from all around the world who have rated him so highly. This is the 8th time in the last 11 years that a Bernemcourt dog has been Annual Champion in Ireland and once in the U.K. We are so proud of our dogs and what we have achieved with them
